i've just joined this forum as tonight i have just had the mother of all issues with my Blue & Me! it decided for some strange reason that it no longer like the contacts stored in my phonebook tonight and so every time i tried to call somebody the lady announced "searching for connection, try again later" it has been working perfectly ever since i bought it almost 9 months ago and yet tonight it seems she's taken the huff with me! there have been no recent updates made to my phone and i haven't changed any settings!
Anyway, i had to remove myself as a user from the system and then pair up again. when i loaded my phonebook back onto the car, instead of listing my contacts the way they were before they all loaded with the surname first! god knows why. it meant, though, that if i had more than one person with the same surname it would only allow me to dial one of them (the first one that appeared on the list) using the voice function. i finally sorted this after 2 hours of pee-ing about and removing and re-adding all my contacts on my phone around 10 times (so frustrating! :bang
but now when i call someone the noise that comes out of the speakers when ringing (and then also once the other person answers) is immense! i thought it was going to blow my speakers and my ears were ringing afterwards. the in car volume was low (on number 2) so i know that wasn't the cause and i haven't adjusted any sound settings on my phone.
has anyone else experienced this and do they know what it is and how I can sort it please? i can't use the call function at the moment at all because it is just too loud and will damage my speakers.
