Blue&me and Text (SMS) messages

OK all the Fiat media hype inc the current blue&me mini site, claim that blue&me will read a text message back to you. However nothing is mentioned in the blue&me manual, and I cannot get it to work. I am using a Motorola V635 which is listed in the blue&me manual as a compatable phone, but when I receive a text blue&me just ignors it. Anybody had any success with blue&me and text messages, and if so how.

As far as I know B&Me text messages reading will be a later feature. Probably there will be an update later this year.

I believe you need a Laptop with active sync to install it.... you do so at your own risk

So far I have only heard of Sony Ericcson phones working with Blue&Me message reader although I will be glad if im wrong

hi, ive downloaded the update onto my laptop and activesync, do i need to connect the laptop to the car to do the update or can i simply put it on a pendrive and do it that way. and when i add this update does it simply add it to the existing software on the hardrive in the car or do u need to do a complete reinstall.

hi its installed on my car and it worked great with my old nokia 6230 but it doesnt with my n95 at all
i used a pen drive and as soon as you turn your ignition on it automatically installs it if the drive is in the usb port and it takes a few seconds

If you read numerous posts in the Blue&Me section you will find the Nokia N95 does not work with the text reader, whatsmore, none of the Nokia phones do.

my nokia work phone reads out txts no problem at all. its a 6021
