Technical Blue and me fuse location?

I am having big problems here with blue and me.

It doesn’t work and I’ve put a new one in but that doesn’t either. MES isn’t seeing it. Says it’s not connected. I’ve read somewhere about fuse 51 but that’s ok. Can’t find any specific reference in Haynes or elsewhere as to a possible fuse location. I don’t know whether power is getting to it or not but a fuse seems an obvious thing. Any ideas?

I’ve had to give up on this as I’m scratching my head. I can’t hear the whirr of the ECU with either plugged in, neither steering wheel controls or blue and me usb socket work either as obviously if the ECU isn’t working neither will they.

Have you checked for power on the wiring to the blue and me module ? I presume you have a multimeter ?

I do but there’s nowhere to check it apart from peeling back the sheathing. Don’t know which is the live either.

Quick trick, if you have a meter with crocodile clips on the ends, clip one to a Stanley knife blade(You could just hold it against it but it's easier clipped on) or similar you can poke the end through the insulation to read the wire, once away you'll never see the mark?
