blue and me bug ??

I was suppose to be driving around in my brand new 500C gucci now. But just as I was to take delivery, found out the boot cannot be open : try everything with the remote key and the boot still would not open.

Before this happen, I updated the blue and me by plugging in the USB with the updated blue and me downloaded from the B&M web. Could this be the reason of the fault ?

Or is there a feature in the in car computer that can disable the boot opening ??

I think you've got some sort of fault be it with the body computer or boot lock. Either way its nothing to do with B&M.

B&M is purely an infotainment system which can interact with some of the cars other electronic systems but certainly not any locking mechanisms.

Thanks Alex. I am quite sure that Fiat HK can reset the car's computer and solve the problem.

But I would think twice if I should update the Blue & Me to the latest version.....

Service Manager says : boot and softtop hand-shaking was faulty. After software reset, all is well.

Should I believe him ?
