I personally found my 12 year old daughters followed my instructions better when bleeding than ex wife.;)
Yes. Women just wont follow simple instructions.... Well not after 47 years together.

The two females in my immediate family couldn't be more different. Mrs J is not at all mechanically minded and totally lacks Mechanical sympathy - some times I will be biting my tongue and curling up my toe nails to hold back from telling her not to do this or that - for instance, changing up very early and expecting to have reasonable acceleration from little more than idling revs. Daughter on the other hand seems to have inherited an overdose of my genes, went to Uni and became a civil engineer. Now works as second in command in a small prestigious outfit designing everything from bridges to excavating basements of rich folk and building swimming pools for them. When she was on her terms and having just passed her driving test, I decided she ought to be able to change a punctured wheel. She was a natural, seemed to know, without being told, exactly what to do and which tools to use - I felt very proud of her - and still do. I think I've mentioned before that when it was suggested Mrs J should have a go too, she replied, with scorn, "Why would I keep a dog and bark myself" That put an end to that!

Edit
Daughter went to Uni but I didn't, just to clarify
