Had Panda "fun" today :bang:

Many thanks to Vernon for his phone a friend routine though!

Went to rescue black Panda who had died in the care of a friend. Usual suspects didn't help and I eventually worked out that no fuel was getting through. Much dismantling of blue Panda to try working parts eventually left me stumpified and calling Vernon and the big orange van :bang:

Very very nice man (wrong mob I know) arrives and commences much head scratching, sucking & blowing of pipes & swapping of more parts. Eventually he managed to clear a blocked fuel line - star :worship:

Somehow he managed to also fix the jammed fuel pump, and even put the blue Panda back together for me. Earned beer tokens for that as it would have been a 2nd job really. Somehow in the process the blue Panda's overrunning appears to have been cured too

No work done today, but a rescued black Panda - now for the Mot

Ah so it was a blockage, strange that the fuel pump developed a fault too. Sounds like you struck lucky with the RAC man though .

Yes he couldn't have been more helpful - maybe he liked working on something simple!

Think some crud must have gone up the pipe & into the pump too. A bit of a worry though as it might happen again if there's something orrible in the tank

Stick an inline filter in the pipe before the pump, if there not already one of course.
