General Bigger battery advice

Hi guys just recently got a 110ah leisure battery , will this be okay too use straight onto the seicento terminals (car is a non runner so will be for testing purposes as I know it won't fit in the engine bay ) or do I need too upgrade any cables ,this will be eventually situated in rear of car once I get my split charger relay , don't want too blow any fuses by using too high a current

Nope wil be fine. No such thing as to much current.

Hahah well my multimeter didn't like my leisure battery think it's rated at 10a max the cables were red hot when trying too check the voltage

You have your meter setup wrong. Black lead needs to always be in COM and red in the V. You probably had it in A for checking amps
