This guy posted on the forum at lunchtime on Saturday. He was desperate for some HGT wheels. As my Son has some for sale, but was at Brooklands, I replied to his post, and sent him a photo.
He phoned me, said he would definately buy them, and asked me if I would meet him at a point 80 miles away from where I live at lunchtime today (Bank Holiday Monday). I agreed to this. I did emphasise the fact that I wanted him to phone me on Monday morning to confirm an exact place and time to meet up.
To cut a long story short, he didn't phone. After I had tried his number about 20 times, his missus answered and said he had just gone out to the shop and would phone me back in 5 mins. She also said she knew that he was supposed to be collecting some wheels today. I left it for another half an hour, then started phoning again. For some reason, he's still not answering it. I wonder why?
This guy had my phone number and my email address. If he decided to change his mind about buying the wheels, he could have phoned me. If he didn't have the balls to use the phone, he could still have emailed. He didn't have the decency to do either. And now his guilty conscience seems to be impairing his ability to pick the phone up.
What an invertebrate arsehole.
