Also noticed today that the windscreen wipers front and rear as well as the washers are not working. to top this all off the car is blowing a 30amp fuse fr the wipers everytime i switch on the car.

Any Ideas please help????????????????????

These bulbs are on all the time with the ignition. On the whole car, they're the most likely to fail I think.

Seek professional help from an auto electrician. Don't just keep replacing fuses. They are there to protect the car from faulty components.

After a lot of tooing and froing between myself and a garage (AA use for breakdowns) the car eventually went to and auto sparky to get fixed. It was traced to a faulty wire that had became bare behind the dash. this was caused by the loom not being securely attached and the wire wore through in time.

To be honest i am a wee bit pissed off with the service i recieved from the garage that came to my callout through the AA. They made me drive it to their garage, although not really a problem, i felt that i pay for recovry you take it. I then had to arrange with the auto electrician to get it fixed because i felt that the original garage couldnt fix it so they were no longer interested. I then had to drive the car even though it was raining and not working so quite dangerous. After all this i am still no longer closer finding out if i will be able to claim back from the AA as i have warranted parts and labour even though the original garage should have done this for me before any work was carried out.

Honestly havnt a clue where it was all engineer said was behind dash, rebuilt and secured he said the wires were loose.

Might it be worth raising this with Fiat themselves? You may have been unlucky and had a car where the loom wasn't fully secured behind the dash, or it could be that the loom is poorly routed on your batch of Bravos, or indeed all Bravos.

I know that my work on buses, we need to be very careful with wiring. It will move around on a moving vehicle and so you need to secure it as best you possibly can, to ensure it doesn't rub through and short on something which can lead to fire.

So, yeah, it could be considered a safety issue. Thankfully the fuse kept blowing which protects the circuit, and stopped it going on fire. But even so, constantly being left without wipers is a concern!
