Main Garages! I was in at Fife Auto Centre yesterday asking bout brake discs/pads found out i need a backtyre and 4 cv joints aswell got the quote from the guy £469 all in :smt067 There was me bout to phone kwick fit and peugeot garage. :shock: didnt bother in the end. Got some guy (mate of a mate) to the work £250 all in :?. What is with main garages trying to rip us off pisses me clean off. :evil:

Fife Auto Centre aren't a main garage, just a smaller version of KwikFit.

I got them to do some work on a couple of my cars and wasn't too happy with the first but what really pissed me off was when they were changing the fuel filter on my Punto 75 and managed to bust the pipe going into the top of the fuel tank then, after a few days to get the bits, gave it back to me with the piece glued on and a cut up inner tube over the top to hide the bodge & the petrol smell.

They're a bunch of cowboys.
