The top of a cinq engine bay is the hottest place, hot air is less dense so less fuel is added. The air needs to come from the front to be as cold as possible.

Fantastic, thought as muchshall await reply to my email patiently then
where abouts is he located?
Yeah thought as much, do you think a bonnet scoop just on top on the TB have a similar problem with hot air around it? Not like it matters though, got no plans on this, it was just a thought.

You have to watch the air pressure areas. below the windscreen is low pressure so a bonnet vent at the back of the bonnet will probably suck air out of it rather than into it.
The standard way of doing things is to put the intake as close to the front of the car.
I have a reverse vent on the top of the bonnet to get the hot air out, as mine won't go under the car thanks to the sump guard.

Aye, its a shame work has to get in the way of playtime. I know how you feel, although I did get a championship update through this week and I am currently 2nd by eight points.
Well, I was, but I nipped down to the Merrick Rally this morning and did the flying finish of stage 2.
2 marshalling points in the bag.
