Does anyone know of a good set of Disk's and Pads for a 1.8 HLX Bravo or any Big Disk conversions, and anyone who has a rough idea of the prices would be helpful, thnx

Red dot fast road pads and 6 groove discs.

The coupe brembo discs & callipers fit if you have an adapter made but you need 16" rims.

A couple of companies make 6 or even 10 pot calliper conversions but they are £1k-£2k and really you are limited by car weight and tire width/compound.
 
i Have a 1.8 Bravo Full Stainless Steel Exhaust System Strait through de-cat , Quickshift Airfilter capable of 350 bhp just looking at Some mods to get more power if anyone can help there that would be great to lol, but the standars disks and pads dnt cut it for me i want somthing a little more stopping power lol

Im putting on 17" Alloys soon as i get the Tyres to fit them and them Eibach Springs from Al so i would think the Brembo Disks from the Coupe sound about rite, what are they like does anyone or has anyone tried them out, and what cost am i looking at to have them fitted, Tom i guess u'de be the wizz on this lol.

Hate to say this but all those mods add up to very little BHP gain. The first time Yogis had his 1.8 dyno'd (K&N, supersprint manifold, full exhaust) it registered 113BHP. Even allowing for variation in dyno setup its still sod all.

Try some red dots.
 
Yeah i knew about the guy on the tv with the 1.8 i was hoping for some Angel Tuning but seems nige dont do it for the 1.8's lol but oh well i think i'll give the Red Dots a Go until im sorted with a bit of cash then Give the Brembo Coupe Brakes a shot lol, what would u advise for more Tourqe on these engines i want 0-60 not top end, which is why i was gonna get a JTD and tune it but none around i liked lol, thnx for the advice tho Tom cheers.

I was going to do this conversion...lokked in to it... you can get the calipers and discs etc for between £150-£250 depending on condition! but the cost is in the fitting, no one i called would be willing to do it! they say that something as important as the brakes isnt worth playing with!!!which i agree and instead i have uprated discs and pads!! the 1.8 is never going to be a quick car ( nippy is all it will ever be)!!!dont waste anymore money on the engine! i am sure tom will back me up! i have gone through every single possibility and have decided that if i do anything then it will be an engine swap!!!everything else just isnt worth the money!

I will probably do an alfa conversion! looking at the 2.5 V6 now! but its going to be quite tight! but if you can fit V6's to corsas then there must be away!! and that noise once its in! ummmmmmmmmmmmmm

Cheers for the feedback lad's think i'll just look into Sound and Looks then hehe, got a sound system to go into it yet lol should be cruise worthy in a few weeks lol.

yeah m8, dem modz wil giv u 200bhp! U wanna get a ecotek n a powarbost vaulve n sum cams den u wil ave 300bhp n 60mpg.
 
Dunno where Yogis has gone, he used to be a regular around here but he got his 1.8 to about 150BHP peak. C&B cams and a dastek unichip. About £1200 + fitting and tuning though!! :(

Obvious question but do you have a good cold air feed to your airfilter?

universal RAGE/PECO back box promises to fall off after a week or to but he'l be pushing 325bhp, trust ;)
