Best way to take off rust and keep it off??

Ive got 3 or 4 little spots of rust appearing on the inside of my arches, and obviously i want to get rid of them and also stop them from coming back. What is the best way of doing this?

I thought about using some WD40 to get the rust off, then wash it all down and just polish and wax the arches so its quite thick over the bodywork?

Any better ideas from anyone would be great.

clean it up, stck some kurust on it, and some primer. should do the trick for at least a year
