ye wireing could be wrong if ur stereo stays on...

wen u power down the vehicle does the stereo go off ???

if not then ur switches are wrong.. the battery live an ignition switch will need to be swapped around.. if halford fitted this then they should have known. if its this it will definatly drain the battery because the stereo stays on wen u leave the vehicle with out u knowin.

The point is that you need two different power supply wires - one is permanent, the other is powered only when you switch on the ignition.
Older Puntos have only permanent supply, i.e. you have to add an extra wire from the ignition switch, position 15.
Permanent and switched supply is marked 4 and 7 on the ISO connector, but, depending on the manufacturer of the radio, it may be the other way around.

Typical stereo should have the standby supply less than 150 mA.
