i'm thinking of disconnecting the battery on my car, will the radio work when it is reconnected or will i need a code??

should work i assume .. i disco'd mine for a 24 hours n still worked fine .. think u only need code if someone has thiefd it then tries puttin it in the same sorta car

i think you'll find you need to put the code back in if you interupt its power supply (disconnect the battery).

Only if the code is set. If it's an AD 182 you'll have the EXP button. Press and hold it for 2 secs., then you can scroll through the options with the up and down buttons. If you come to 'CODE', the code is not set so you can disconnect it, but if you come to 'SAFE' it means the code is on and you'll need it to use it again.
