The tweeters will have an inline resistor which blocks out the lower frequencys.

Still struggling slightly. The B speakers in footwell are 165mm but need a mounting hole diameter of 127mm?
Nick, the infinity's are an excellent sound, I fitted them to mine but they do take some work as the tweeters do not drop straight in and the main speakers need some adjustments to make them fit (the original speakers are shallow cones and the infinities are deep cone speakers). The crossovers can be hidden under the dash.
The result is great but don't think it is a 5 min job, I started on a Sat lunchtime and finished Sunday evening!
