A few weeks ago I had a replacement windscreen from Autoglass here in the UK. Can't fault the convenience, all booked on the web, they'll come to home or work and they deal with all the insurance paperwork so you only pay the excess.
It was a third party screen, not a Fiat one and after a few days with it I realised there was a big optical distortion just below eyeline, and even worse the spray of white blotches across most of the driver's side which I assumed would clean off were actually etched into the surface.
The inspector immediately said I'd be better with a Fiat part, ordered one on the spot and a few days later it was fitted - no extra charge. So far looks perfect.
The moral of the story, insist on a dealer part first time around and pay a little extra if you have to!
