Basically wanting to remove the Automatic “robot”.

Has anyone here done a swap from the M40MTA to a Basic Manual?

Basically wanting to remove the Automatic “robot”.

On much older vehicles I have done this with two pre ECU vehicles side by side for doner purpose, however apart from the obvious practical issues I suspect with computer controlled systems it will be incredibly difficult if not impossible.

Parts are available, and yes, it’s the computer that is the big question.

Hi yes just finished it and works perfect it's just in limp mode now due to check transmission error on dashboard . Going to ring around and see if i can get it mapped out of the ecu.
