Audio Advice, Amp ?

Hey people
just need to some advice really, basically my set up atm is 4x50watt Mutant Headunit, Pyle 6x8 front speakers 360Watt, standard fiat tweeters and pyle rear 90 watt speakers, now would an amplifier get the most out of the speakers..i cant be assed with a sub...i prefer clear less bassy sounds

Yes an amp will help at lot. Also sound deadening is very important.

so what sort of amp should i be looking for ?

I would get a 2 channel amp if the 6x8's are full range and disconnect the standard tweeters.
If the 6x8's are mid bass/ bass only then replace the tweeters and get a 4 channel amp.

What sort of budget do you have for an amp.
I must also stress that a good solid baffle for the speakers will help the sound a lot, there is no need to amp the rear and sound deadening is a must. Also if you want better quality sound then replacing the head unit and maybe even speakers would be beneficial.
