It depends, is it intended to be an engagement ring?

If so then no, unless the intended recipient likes that sort of style.

If it was me i would hope for something delicate and sparkly, a simple gold/silver/white gold *delete as applicable* band with maybe 3 diamonds inset or a single diamond

if you have been together a while and are using it as a token of your love etc then great, but engagement ring no, its too ott no1, and no2 it doesnt give the right message if you know what i mean...
