I have recently experienced a broken side window, mangled ignition barrel, and snapped plastic obd port cover. All very annoying items to repair. I have been told this has become an increasingly common pattern of vandalism. I hope a visual steering wheel lock may discourage someone from smashing the window in future.

Not as far as I am aware , at least not round here

Stealing

Clone, spare, stolen keys are by far the most common

Hijacking and blocking the remote locking on post 2012 cars,

A169 stolen has little value except as parts

Vandalism

Paint, body damage, arson

The kids have to learn in something. In Glasgow ( When I stayed there) the kids learnt in scrap yards how to bejaber cars. Then would push them downhill for a Gto type crash into a wall or a garden other cars scenario.
So your quite lucky in that respect.

Happened with my MK1 Punto, and some of my many Uno's, that were bought after such Car knappings.

Police told me ' sorry mate but the little cun7s are rife about here, they start at age 10'. They know there's not much we can do'😳😳😳😳
