Yesterday whilst at college i rung the legendary Venom Motorsport ready to order my 70-50 drop :p i told him ALL details which he needed and replied with "unfortunately we have none of this kit in the UK so it will have to be imported from Germany" i then said that was completely fine and i was willing to pay the sum of £235.98 over the phone. in return he said he would ship them to my home address free of charge due to paying there and then!! LEGEND!!

SOOOO....give me two weeks or so and ill post pictures of the slammed beast :) x

:p AMAZINGLY EXCITED!! While im here Ming, ive been told its possible to remove the top 'caps' on top of the spring? is this true? therfore the drop is more substantial than the standard 'cups', resulting in the full 70-50 mm drop for abarth sportings :)

using the word 'cups' becuase im not sure on the parts name lol :)

lol I not even responded to this post yet :p.

Na you can't remove any cap or anything. the 70/50 will be low enough!!

People did report saying the using the PAS top mounts will give increase castor (i personally don't understand this fully), meaning the car will handle better :0.

You could remove the rubber cup insert but i recon it would make it dangerous.

personally I cant see how the top mounts will change anything cos if they where moved inwards the springs would rub the inner arch
my guess would be that they are a bit beefier to cope with added strain inflicted by the pas

Think it was CC1 that discover this. I don't think the movement is large enough for the springs to hit anything tho. Loads of room down there.

Its castor thats changed with the PAS mounts, is my understanding.

Castor is the verticle inclination of the strut fore and aft, when viewed from the side.

It will only be a small amount extra, or less, depending on how you look at it, but increased castor increases steering weight.

you have to leave the rubber cups in as they locate the spring and stop them twisting ect, there there for saftey too...

trust me the 70/50 is enough mate, you will encounter mountains on the smoothest of roads and canyons on the most perfect surface! :p:p

you have obviously already seen the pics of my car, check out richard33dees as he has the same kit. you wont need to go lower!.

all in all enjoy, oh... and sorry to dissapoint but they always post to your house for free on orders that expensive and the FK kit are always from germany, they dont stock them as they dont get ordered enough!. but aslong as you get a deal haha.

what do the camber bolts do? i dont have any do i need them?

You have set the car so you have up to -1.75 negative cameber. Really so it handles better :).

Think it was the Mk1 clio that fits. Am sure J333evo made a post about them!

found the post :): https://www.fiatforum.com/cinquecento-seicento/225634-suspension-top-mounts-2.html

If you want more camber use camber bolts, they work and give upto 1.75° of extra camber. We have some on our Cinq Eibach ones work great.

Eibach do not list any for the Cento, but on cross checking Monroe "Magic Camber" bolts I found same part number was listed for Cento and Mk1 Clio's. So I bought a set of Mk1 Clio (90-98) Eibach bolts and they fit a treat.

At £16 they are a bargain compared to what some charge for them.

Forgot to add, by increasing castor you make the car more stable in a straight line and increase the camber on the wheel when its turning, but it requires more effort to turn the steering wheel especially when the car is stationary, hence why less castor on the non-power assisted vehicles, but if you can live with heavier steering having some more castor will help if using the car on track etc

yeh i was thinking that, so its worth it even on a 50mm drop because that would be cambered more than a 40mm, i dont mind just making sure i understand haha.
