Changed my front suspension top mounts today on Schumacher number 2.
Fiat eper quote two versions and as usual , Two prices. The power steering one costs more. Why??? Same crap.

The difference is that the power steering ones have the hole centre 7mm
towards the bulkhead to kind of make the wheels flop as you turn.

Have fitted ones bought from Fluffy, Driven the car and to me it feels better.

towards the bulkhead means more castor right?
So, will these fit a cinq aswell? might be usefull when changing my steering rack for a PAS one (without the PAS)

The ones I fitted are non power steering type so make the suspension strut more vertical.

The power steering type are, I believe, Only available from FIAT.

could we get some pics of the mount if possible?
would it be possible to turn it trough 33.3 degrees and have more camber?
I can't remember what the pattern of the holes is
is it two holes towards the centreline of the car or a single one?

If you want more camber use camber bolts, they work and give upto 1.75° of extra camber. We have some on our Cinq Eibach ones work great.

Eibach do not list any for the Cento, but on cross checking Monroe "Magic Camber" bolts I found same part number was listed for Cento and Mk1 Clio's. So I bought a set of Mk1 Clio (90-98) Eibach bolts and they fit a treat.

At £16 they are a bargain compared to what some charge for them.

Forgot to add, by increasing castor you make the car more stable in a straight line and increase the camber on the wheel when its turning, but it requires more effort to turn the steering wheel especially when the car is stationary, hence why less castor on the non-power assisted vehicles, but if you can live with heavier steering having some more castor will help if using the car on track etc

Okies, I should get some neg camber on further lowering but I wanted to control it a bit more so not to screw tyres up.

Random question, has peoples PM's been working properly? I've been sending out but either the receiving end just don't want my money, or something is wrong.

Sorry for hijacking.

Thanks
