Hello,
Sadly I have a plastic part from the trunk area which broke when I was attaching the hat rack.
I've asked my local Fiat dealer for a sparepart, but he couldn't really find the part on his computer, the drawing of the trunk parts was very scetchy.

So I hope that one of you can help me out with a part number?

I've also attached some pictures of the part, og and it's from a Fiat Stilo 5 Door.

Thanks
Casper

It's attaced on the side wall inside the trunk.
It's where the clip where the small hat rack is attached, you push a plastic part on the small hat rack down into this now broken piece,

Did this help?

Car specs.
Fiat Stilo 2005 1.4 ciao

I've just made a google search for the partnumber you supplied. And it does not look anything like the part i've attached pictures of..

So i still need a part number, please look and the pictures of the broken part.

The clipthing that i need, is attached to plastic side inside the trunk. It's not for the large hatrack/shelf, but for the little hatshelf right behind the rear seats. It's only 10 cm wide or so.

You have two options.

1) user the ePER link on this website and enter your own car data and navigate/hunt for yourself ( http://eper.fiatforum.com/ )

2) or supply your model No. 192 and an 8 digit chassis number. You also need to clarify that the clip you have broken is the clip that the protruding lugs on the parcel shelf (hat rack ?) plug/clip into.

As far a Fiat ePER parts diagrams are concerned they are pretty generic so although two cars may have totally different designs of "clips" the parts images will show just one or general generic image.

Whilst we are waiting for casper1986 to come back to us I would like to get on my soap box!

Fiat Dealers and their Fiat UK support structure are supposed to be able to sort parts issues like this out. It doesn't matter if the part is worth 5 pence or £5000 pounds.

It is down to everyone of us to hound and hassle dealers who can't provide what is a fundamental service.

Car chassis number, spares number etc. should and in most cases will deliver a correct part. If ordered through a dealer and that part is wrong then the dealer will/should absorb the cost and get back to Fiat UK Parts Technical to resolve the problem.

THIS IS ONE REASON WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER QUOTE OR ORDER BY PART NUMBER from a Fiat or other dealer. Quoting a part number forms the basis of an order/contract and if the part number is wrong then YOU are liable, not the dealer/supplier.

HOWEVER if you clearly give the dealer your vehicles data and state the part you require then it is their and Fiat UK's responsibility to quote and deliver the correct part.

Whilst I will happily help people with part numbers etc. it is NOT my preferred option. DEALER 1st, 2nd, 3rd .... times always.

ONLY authorised dealers have the fully up-to-date information at their disposal.

My only deviation from the above statements are for older cars like the Strada 130TC and any other car model who's parts Microfiche slides were never integrated into ePER. Besides not being in ePER most parts are long discontinued. Also most if not all current Fiat dealers no longer have the parts slides and equipment to look up said parts and can only revert back to Fiat Parts Technical. (only to find the part is no longer available etc. etc.)

If your local Fiat dealer can't/won't take the time and effort to "service you" then get straight onto Fiat UK/Italy customer service and rattle their cage.

If I/we/others can take the unpaid time and effort to try and identify a part then I expect a franchised dealer to do better and if they can't then they need "chopping" immediately.

Now i've taken a photo of the intact one in the left side of the trunk, and a picture of the place/hole where the broken one is supposed to go.

Now you do have me stumped.

Every Stilo I've ever seen has a parcel (hat?) shelf that is clip hinged and lifts/goes up and down with the boot hatch via attached drop & lift cords.

The picture you are showing is more of a semi fixed four position clip in shelf.

Is this correct?

PLEASE PM me your car Type Number and Chassis number.

I have the (hat)shelf, with the chords attached to the tailgate. But behind that shelf is another smaller shelf (about 10-15 cm) deep, between the (hat)shelf and the backseat.
The clip is for that smaller shelf.
Thanks
