Are these speaker wires?

Hi all, I was reading the handbook and looking into the rear pax floor vents when I found some wires. There's two under each front seat, they appear to come from the front doors and then under the sill to exit under the front seats. Written on them is 'Oxygen free copper High definition Bass cable'.


Are they speaker cables, sub woofer cables? I'm just guessing myself. :shrug:


Could an I.C.E genius enlighten me please.. and let me know what my options are for using them if possible?


All the speakers currently fitted work fine by the way.

they look like wires for sub etc.
tbh.. id take all that out and start from scratch.

Looks like a complete bodge, I wouldn't have said for sub, not thick enough. Perhaps retro fitted speakers? Amp feed

Cheers guys. I've no immediate plans for them. They wouldn't be power lines by any chance would they? I was thinking of perhaps installing a dvd player for my grandson to help him stfu.

no idont think they will be power.
just patched into speakers ibet they've been bodged in too.

take speaker cover off undue speaker disconnect that added in wire
open wheelie bin and fire all that wire in there.

Headrest dvd set up has built in speaker set up or ear phone plug ins so you don't need that wiring.

Rule of thumb with other peoples wiring "if in doubt rip it all out"
