I think it has already begun. Look at how many recent threads say things like 'I lowered my car and the driveshaft popped out' or 'what colour should I paint my wheels'

I pay £61 a month for 15k mileage a year with admiral with all mods declared, 20 with 2 ncb.
In my first year driving I had a clio 1.2 and paid just shy of 1k for my first years insurance with 10k mileage.
Please don't start comparing insurance prices! There are 1000 different factors that make insurance different. Not just who has a remap and who doesn't.
Exhaust, gsr induction, alloys. What mods do you have?
Im 20 with 2 yr ncb and pay £1200 and with admiral
Exhaust, gsr induction, alloys.
Soon to be brembos, fmic and abarth turbo too.
To insure an AGP is roughly just over 1k for me with admiral.
They should, but if they don't my insurance is up in march and I'll just change to a mod friendly provider.Admiral wont cover all of the new ones though will they?
A I'm 22 and drove for three years Ive never had an accident, never had a speeding ticket, never even had a parking ticket yet I have to pay £120pcm. I drive normally, I'm super fuel efficient, i dont throw it round corners like i drive a ferrari?
I'm 21 with 3 Years NCB - £57 PCM, cheap for me
And what's wrong with having a 1.2 with a few mods? Seriously it's nothing near chavvy yet. I just like my car like this. And unfortunately I live in the worst place in the country for insurance. I'm 22 and drove for three years Ive never had an accident, never had a speeding ticket, never even had a parking ticket yet I have to pay £120pcm. I drive normally, I'm super fuel efficient, i dont throw it round corners like i drive a ferrari? so tell me how it's chavvy really? I don't get mommy or daddy on my insurance to help keep it cheap either , I live in my own house and pay my own ways. I'm sorry but it's as far from chavvy as you can get.
I can see it in 3 years time being like that, but at the moment I only see nice mods in Grande's really. No OTT body kits or anything like that. So it's not already happening and if it is, it ain't because of me.
Having a named driver on your policy with 15+ years no claims will help push your premium down! So more fool you for not taking advantage of that. I have both my parents on my policy and knock about £300 off. So what's wrong with having your parents on your policy???
