Just a short note to apologise to anyone who I have dealt with in the fiat forum as you may have recieved a spam email.
My email account was hacked into and spam sent to all in my mail list.

The problem has now been resolved and I am not being mugged in the Ukraine and needing money!

Funny you should say that, nothing from you but got one from someone Ive emailed previously back a month or so back.

Out of interest do you have the full wording of one of the emails?

To get a temp passport from the embasy and pay the hotel bill as they're not letting you leave until the bill is settled?

Sounds identicle to the one I got - didn't realise it was a scam though, I don't know the personal that well so just ignored it

Sounds like a common scam then. My broadband provider says they were having quite a few calls about it.
