Grimwau, if I was to say congrats! Great that you'll have it in a week I'm only pissing on their parade in a delayed manner. People should be honest with people on this forum and if they don't think something is going to happen they should point it out
Just been on the phone to my dealer, as my car is supposed to be in the country on Monday. I asked them to check the status for me, their answer was the only person who can access the computer system is on holiday for 10 days!!! yet another example of super efficent service from a fiat dealer! I have left them alone from the day we went in to the show room and placed the order, but I thought with it being so close to delivery they might of taken a bit of interest.
Oh well, wait and see game!!
Thanks for that, will give it a try, although the sales desk did say that they know it sounds crazy but they can not access the system with out the pass word and the person on holiday is the only one that knows it!!!

ordered 27th Aug so not to bad really. Could be an issue getting the insurance certificate through the post to get it taxed still I suppose I am lucky the car is on its way after reading nightmare stories from other people on this forum.Hi
Good news, just had a call from my dealer and my 1.2 pop is on route and should be at the dealers tomorrow

Thanks, They said it arrived yesterday and is on a transporter on route, due wed / thurs. They seemed keen to get it all through quickly, however I must question the fact that they need our insurance certificate to tax it!
Can they not tax vehicles as traders?
Can I insure the car on the VIN details?
Will keep you updated, must remember to ask them to stick the number plates on and not screw fix them, following problems highlighted in this forum!

Usually they will offer you the 7 day free insurance from Aviva.. You set up the insurance with them and they will send the certificate via email to the dealers.. Obviously your dealership will have to give you your reg number or VIN details..
In fact, I am waiting for a letter from them with my reg so I can set up the insurance.. They don't have a clue as to where the car is though

Doesn't work like that. You get the car when they're ready to give it to you. Give them time to look it over and find any problems before you find them and have a heart attack.
