When these came out back in 2008, you could even get a 'commemorative' card to place all the coins in. The £1 coin showed the completed design & the £2 coin was supposed to depict advances in tech from iron age to internet.

Ahhh, but for us cheapskates, there was a 'birthday card' type of thing, had a union flag logo on the bit where you inserted the coins. It also had a slot for the £2 coin as well.
I do so love those 'official' coin collections, you pay many times over the odds just for the 'nice' display box :D

Er, no. Actually, thinking about it, one of my Grandmothers bought me a display with a halfpenny, 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 50p piece. 68.5p!!

I'd spent it all within a couple of weeks, and that was when 68.5p was worth 68.5p!

You must be a young'un...... my display had a farthing, halfpence, penny, threepenny bit, sixpence, shilling and a half crown. I may still have a ten-bob note and a commemorative crown somwhere too. Can't remember what it commemorated though.
