Nearly right Jamie :) Only thing is STOCHAJ isn't my actual surname which is something I am avoiding the use of on the forum nowadays for various reasons. The name has died now in this generation in our part of the family because my uncle only had two daughters...

True but that's not something I think I will ever consider for some reason. To me it would be kind of fake?

Another consideration is that my Auntie on the other side only had bloody girls too (I am the only male in this generation of any of my family, i.e. no male cousins) so my actual surname would be lost if I did that although it wouldn't exactly be the same sort of loss!

Another problem is nobody can say Stochaj to save their life without hearing it at least once.

:Offtopic: lol :)

Driving any car with pedal to the metal all day is going to cause problems. All the remap is doing is surely putting the map onto the engine that should have been there in the first place, but not for a variety of other reasons.

Again, Nige not "cagey" about the 170bhp, just aware that a new exhaust is needed and therefore won't do a map that high unless the car is able to cope with it.

It does state within FAQS that a 10% drop in engine life may be experienced, but probably not too much concern for most of us.

Me? Just like I say ever other word :p I open my mouth....
jk

It's one of those words that unless you have been taught proper phonetics it's difficult.

Mainly people say: Stockhadge (stock + like the ending of badge)

But it's "stohc high" - the first bit is the hardest to explain, the last bit works well with "high" and I am not very good at linguistics!

Thats off topic too! But good point. Also if the car is brand new and it has a remap like the 170bhp it should be able to cope with the changes more efficiently ;) I think the 10% drop in engine life will apply to cars that do high mileage.
