I've seen JTDLees posts about his Marea but wonder if anyone else is doing it?

I have a 1999 105JTD Brava with Bosch pressure pump. I am on the verge of going 50 / 50 SVO / Derv as a starting point but need a little more convincing....

I've heard all the scare stories about ring gumming, engine oil emulsification and other such potential damage but surely with a close eye on things and regular maintenance most of this would be avoided I reckon.

Check out the marea forum on here, do a wee search someone running it there for quite a while.
