General Any idea...(engine bay)

Afternoon,

The hoses etc from different parts of engine under the bonnet...

Is it possible to get different colour ones which do not enhance performance? As I want to keep car standard for when I sell it (and get a sporting). but think like blue hoses would look good.


Any ideas on where I can get them if their sold?

You can get high temp pain, which will work, however, I don't think it will be any good applied to rubber hosing. perhaps, it will help the hosing form cracking years down the line? or in any case make it worse!?

haha. it took me like 4 minutes to realise what high temp pain was... (paint) hah..urm nah, was think of actual hosing.. they must be sold. which reminds me actually I've seen it in some cinq pics.

So just need to find out if i can get ones to replace mine which are the same size... hmm...

That stuff looks good will not replace some of the more technical hoses, such as the air box etc. but will dress up some of the more obvious ones.

Yer as you said it looks good. (founds lots of colours now) hehe. And its suprisingly cheap to what I thought it would cost.

Just a question of it being an exact replacement.. it says its universal, but are all hoses the same size in cars?

You need to get out to your car and decide which bits you want to be blue, then either find out or measure the sizes and then get online and look for hoses. Thin Demon Tweaks has a wide selection of silicone hoses etc.. You don't need to worry about performance, piping isn't gonna make any difference to performance unless you put the wrong ones on obviously and then you'll lose it.

Thanks, Ill do that 2moro. But some hoses apparently say they wil not transport liquids etc.. so im not too sure which ones do and which ones dont...heh.

With a 899, there are too many hose around, even if u get them colour coded it just won't look tidy like the 1108.

But if u just want some colour, then just get those cheap e-bay kit
