Any comment on this alarm ?

I wouldn't trust any alarm that costs 29 quid and has remote start!

Seriously, spend a few quid more and get a basic alarm made by a reputable company, eg Cobra/Clifford etc.
I've got a cheapo Argos alarm in my Punto which is utter and total s***e... the keyfob is falling to bits, the ultrasonics are rubbish, and it gives loads of false alarms unless you turn the shock sensor right down, rendering it useless. These ones will be as bad if not worse.

for the car but my main worry is the ice in the boot. mind you how many times do you hear alarms going off in the city with no one doing anything!
exactly.they are pointless.always going off when they should't.so everybody ignores them.and not difficult to silence either.if you put a large ice sticker in the rear window, then you are asking for it. ;)

Yeah I suppose so.

I am planning to remove all Locks, to make it safer etc,

GT's so come with an alarm, but the guy has lost the FOB GRRR

Is there anyway to get a replacement ?

Well the keys I have been Given, are 1 red key, 2 blue keys 1 imobiliser key, and the he said there is a key for the alarm unit, but he doesn;t have the key fob?

better trying to get a meta unit to replace it for simplicity?
personally i like an alarm for the little piece of mind(no ice stickers in mine :D ) but you dont want an unreliable one as people wont pay attention to it and you tend not to use it.

where i live theres a guy with a mazda 626 who's alarm goes of about once a fortnight, been like that for the 3 years i have been here. think if i saw that getting broken into i would leave them to it as he has done nothing about it. 3 years and im yet to see him on the street so i can pull the **** up

remember if you de-lock and the C/L does not work.you cant get in your car.de-locking is for muppets. (y)
