Well, well, multi just passed another MOT, with just one advise, that both front tyres are wearing unevenly (on the inside edge, obviously tracking!!)
Absolutely nothing else wrong with it, again!! (last year, it was just one advise, 'slight oil leak' which was cured when I did the service, poss an oil filter seal pinched)

Tester was very positive regarding the condition of the car, saying that there was no real signs of any problems arising next year either!!
Have now owned it for just over 2 years (it came with a years MOT, no advises)and have had 2 done now as well, so really impressed, and wondering if I have actually got one of the 'really good ones' as most of the posts on here are regarding 'another problem'

Car is a 55 plate JTD 'eleganza' with 87755 on the clock, and an almost complete service history. I am its 3rd owner, the first was Fiat itself, for 9 months, then one other owner right up until I got it.

Have had a couple of services done on it, and had the cambelt done, as it was approaching the 'overdue' when I got it. Apart form just regular oil changes (I do every 6 months regardless)
Gives about 42 around town, and around 53 on a long run (with 5 passengers and luggage too!! :)

Having followed the threads on here, am considering myself very lucky to have such a reliable car (probably jinxed it now!!! :p )

Always a good feeling when your vehicle passes the MOT. (y) I to am a six monthly oil changer on all my vehicles.
Have always changed my engine oil around the 6 monthly mark, irrespective of mileage, as with diesels, oil is the lifeblood of these engines, and rather err on the right side, than have one go because of 'dirty' oil.
Do around 8000 a year in 'Montymultiy' as she is nicknamed, and most is town driving, ie: stop start, idling, then pulling away, and would rather spend the money on a filter and oil, than a massive repair bill, that's for sure.
Occasionally do motorway's but then tend to top tank up, then give her a good 'blast' to clear any 'shyte' from her.
Must say, I am well impressed with the MPG considering..probably because she has been looked after, regularly serviced and taken care of though...
Another oil change due around November, lucky girl!!

Nice one OP, better than my recent MoT Panda tale of woe! (See my earlier posts!)

MoT tester could never get over my 15 year old Scudo for some reason, 'it's like factory new' he always said, every year, saying most of them he saw (Dispatches, Expert etc...) were 'pretty much rotten as hell' even if they were a year or two newer...

Not quite sure what I did (or didn't) do to make it like that, suppose I washed it a fair bit, and we do live a nice long way from the seafront...
