Technical Another year another MOT passed

And early morning trip and an hours wait and I have another shiny mot certificate.

The only advisory being corroded rear springs, which I intend to change in the next few months. Will probably need a clutch in the not too distant future as well

Obviously it pays to look after your car my little punto has passed all of its Mots in its 8 years on the road its been a good little car and though I would like to replace it now its hard to justify spending the money when this one costs me so little to run and does its job day in day out

Dont touch what aint broke, dont replace whats good is the phrase that comes to mind

The rusty springs i'd personally leave, unless its bad

i did mine before and tbh it was better, but didnt last long

hi,i agree with ziggy122.my fiat grande punto has passed its mot;s for 6 years now.never a problem.the usual garage i go too cant believe how clean both top and bottom it is and the engine and bay aswell.he always calls the other people that work there to have a look.they cant believe it aswell.they often wonder if thats all i do.hold on to your car as im sure you will have a lot more happy mot;s to come it sounds like a great little punto you have.its really good to hear posotive comments regarding fiats.[GO PUNTO!!] :worship:

I think the only thing I might do to update it a little is add a DAB radio some time in the next 12 months, and add a light tint to the windows as in its standard form the windows seem to have absolutely no UV protection, it will also add a bit of security
