Hi,

I've got a 03 reg Punto Active sport 8v with standard 4 speaker system that I've upgraded along with the headunit.
I bought me a punto subwoofer that sits over the wheelarch looking for a bit more bass.
I've rummaged about in the back end of my car to see if the wiring was there but without any luck. Though the green / yellow / blue plugs behind the head unit are there ( I understand the yellow plug is for the sub )
I've read a few threds regarding wiring up one of these things but none seem to have a conclusion, and have a raised a few questions of my own.

Firstly I've fitted a BLaupunkt Calgary headunit which has identical plug sockets on the rear to the standard headunit. The manual with my new headunit indicates that the socket for the yellow plug is amp related, ( line out lr / line out rr / line out ground / line out lf / line out rf / +12v amp ) though the yellow plug only has 4 wires running to it.

Secondly Is the plug that fits into the sub likely to be in the car somewhere?? I've had the back end in bits but couldn't find it.

Thirdly if the wiring isn't there for the sub, I've read that it uses the wires running the rear speakers. Would this mean splicing the speakers to the rear speakers and connecting them some in series or parallel??

My local autoelectrical genius wasn't much help..hopefully someone out there will be !!

Cheers
