Annoying alarm beep!

Is there anyway of turning the annoying beep off, when you lock/unlock the car?
My car is a 51 plate Multipla jtd elx

Fiat dealer should be able to do it. FiatECUScan can do it for some models but is not currently listed for the Multipla.

Not sure what/if they will charge but as for some neighbours this beeping is socially unacceptable the dealer my do it for you on a goodwill basis.

Worth asking a dealer. If they want to charge then you could say "well my neighbours are not going to be happy when I tell them you want to charge to turn it off'.

The alternative is to wait for your next service when they have to plug the Examiner to reset the service counter and DPF/Oil counter (assuming you have these) and also check for other possible logged fault codes. They should do it then free of charge as it is a 10 second job once the Examiner is already plugged in and connected to the vehicle.

My assumption in all the above is that your alarm is the Fiat original and controlled by the body computer or a separate control node.
