If you have a Hydralic clutch you may have a leak of Low Hydraulic fluid.

When your car starts stalling when you stop with your foot on the clutch and trys to drive away while you are waiting for traffic to clear at junctions then your problem is clear but get it sorted before it kills you.

The Hydraulic warning light doesn't usually come on until its already known you have a problem.

Happened to me and I nearly died as Tipo tried to go through a "Give Way" into a main road, Lucky it was clear and I was about to go anyway but it booted off with excessive accelleration

re: batty clutch well yes now ive started moving when clutch is fully aplied got real bad over day i was going 13 miles an hour with clutch right down i personally think i have a heavy foot so its done summing to it i think it just need adjusting and also the biteing point is very high its real frustrating apart from that loving the car and just waiting for freind to be availible to put my new springs on to drop me another 40mil hehe cant wait:slayer:i will have to take picture of it and stick it on ere looking quite jazzy now just need some cheapy alloys now

i had this problem a few months ago with 1 of my tipo's. i bled the clutch slave cylinder(situated at the top of the gearbox, have to take the batery box off) and it worked fine. If that doesnt work buy a new 1 there cheap as fook. just bought 1 and it cost £25

OK HERES A BIG Q
how do i bleed the hydrolic clutch??thingy that tipoboy is on bout???it would be great for some help i have faith that this is going to work and fix the most annoying thing about nipping to the shops
PERSONALLY THINK THERES NO LEAKAGE

ok take the battery tray out 3 13mm bolts on the top and 1 under the tray its quite tricky to get to!!

after these bolts are out disconnect your coil(the bit with the wires connected to the battery tray) when you've done this on the top of the gearbox there is the hydraulic clutch ram. depending on whether its a mark 1 or 2 tipo the slave cylinder looks different.

ok to bleed the clutch you'll need a friend to help!!

get your mate to sit in the car and depress the clutch pedal. then you unscrew the bleed nipple. if there's air in the pipe you'll know anywayz tighten up the bleed nipple again and release the clutch pedal (you will need to pull this up by hand!!) repeat these steps until your clutch pedal works again and replace the battery tray.

hope this helps if not pm me and i'll write out a more comprehensive D.I.Y guide to hydraulic clutch bleeding
