1.6 will do about 300-350 miles on 43l of fuel whick is just when the light comes on. then if your brave you should be able to eeek another 60miles out of the red on the motorway doing between 50-60mph.

driving at 60 rather than 70 makes a big difference on the pocket

Yep, that is pretty good. I got to 398 on a run once. Would have gone to 400 but had no idea where the next petrol station was and lost my bottle.

bloody hell, im usually happy if i hit 250 or above in my HGT... it should be a bit better when shes back on the road mind, have taken the fse poxy boost valve that just made a mess and made her drink more...

Fingers crossed everything gets sorted Tuesday and you can see more of the benefits... more oomph plus better economy, it cant be a bad thing (and thats coming from me!)

OK, finally finished off the first tank today and....
394.4 miles to the light and 440.2 by the time I pulled into Nortan Cannes services to fill her up!!!!

I did run it just a bit lower than last time but I still think it's about 7% improvement in fuel economy. Will keep an eye on her and see what the next few tanks bring.

sorry to hijak but i've just had to fill up the beast and i've managed 300miles on a tank.


doesn't sound much BUT 45 letres filled it untill it was comming out the filler pipe!


so 300miles to 45letres is...


30MPG!!! And that was including my last drive to a BOO meet where I was running late!!

Second tank done (and bearing in mind she's had the ECU reset mid tank again due to the fettling last week at Mr Wims) with 370 miles to the light. 24 down on last time but as said she's had the ECU reset again. Still, at 370 that's still 30-40 miles more than pre-map.
