Am new(ish) and nosey!

Hi all

Am still pretty new here, so thought I'd say hi for starters. Thanks to all who have been very helpful in my previous posts.

And the nosey bit now - I was wondering what cars people had before they moved on to their beloved FIAT(s)? Assuming you've not had a full driving life of them of course

Me anyway:

• Ford Escort 1.6 GLX
• Rover 414i (God help me)
• Fiesta 1.4 Zetec
• Ford Focus Ghia 1.6 TDCi
• Vauxhall Astra 1.8 SRi
• The GPS

i started with a fiat 127, then a rover metro for a short while then back to fiats, uno then puntos and now grande puntos...........nothing wrong with being nosey!!.............

I didn't think so sadie36uk but some forums are very jumpy lol.

Also, are we all likely to stick with FIAT now we have them? Assuming none of you have done away with them already

I still own & run four of those (see sig) Wish I still had the Escort, if only for the reg. The last two 2CVs could still be on the road; all the others are dead!

When i was 14 my dad gave me a 1983 Rover SD1 3500 V8 Vanden Plas for my birthday if that counts hehehe. Absolute monster...ridiculously big an engine was awesome. All it needed was a new battery...needed a truck battery mind you! Of course at 14 there was no way I'd ever be able to drive it! Even now I'm sure insurance companies would just laugh down the phone at me .

My first car that I'm actually old enough to drive is a Mark 2 Fiat Tipo 1.7 Diesel 5Dr. In red. The best bit is...this car works!
