i hav just bought a punto mk2 nd i really want some alloys 4 it. there gonna be 15" 5 spokes with tyres of 195-50-15 but i hav herd that alloys can rub on puntos on the back shocker bolt does anybody know if this is true.

any advice on this would be much appreciated (y)

This only occurs on 17" and above I think.

Best bet is to get some alloys off a higher model punto, then you won't need anything extra to fit them other than alloy bolts, and you don't get any issues with rubbing either.

That's not true.

OP - what offset and rim width?

cheers for the help m8 would 185-50-15s be alrite aswell

185/55 is the correct size.
185/50 rolling raidus is smaller, but it will be ok.
195/50 is often used as it's cheaper and doesn't make much difference.
