Hi guys,
I've been trying to fix this for the past month (only free on weekends) and have gone as far as I could with the help of this forum and the internet all together. Forgive me if the answer is already out there, I've looked as much as I could.
Now the problem...
Ever since I've bought the car (2 months ago), the heater direction knob hasn't worked. I've opened everything up, fiddled around and have come to the conclusion that the gears were stuck. I then noticed, by looking at other images on the net, that the gears are way out of alignment.
The picture below shows the gears after fiddling with them a little. People have been talking about aligning them using the direction arrows on them. I can only see an arrow on the white piece and not on the black. Also, the black gear is very stiff and does not move without some force.
I'm basically stuck and do not know where to go from here. Any kind of help is appreciated.
Thanks.
