Styling Alfa Romeo seats in a Seicento

Has anyone ever fitted Alfa Romeo seats in their Cento?

I know a guy with seats from a alfa 916 spider.
They are nice and low (what I want).

I was thinking of a set of alfa 147 or 156 seats.

But I don'nt know if I can get them low enough, or if the will fit as the cento's are not very wide haha.

I hav ebeen searching for pics but could'nt find any.

I fitted recaro, which you can find from astra, old ford esort.

They are slim and fitted perfectly, also being based mounted you can have them as high or as low as you want.

I have been searching a lot of sites here and scrappy's but did not find anything that I liked.
All teh cars at the scrapyards are leftwith the door open so the seat is trashed by the weather. Such a waste.

they are the exact ones i got.

Just get a plate and drill holes to match with the subframes and seat!

The old honda CRX seats fit fine judging by the polski forum. Not sure what was needed to be done to fit them however.

I had leather momo seats from a gtv in my car for a while

i'm in the middle of fitting mk2 punto sporting seats to my sei abarth a little re drilling of the runners and they should fit nicely, drivers seat also has hight adjuster and i find them more comfortable.

back to the OP's original question. Yes i'm sure you can make them fit, but you won't be able to bolt them straight in, they will need custom brackets for sure. Size wise though, they will be big but sure they'll go. I have Cobra Daytona reclining buckets in my cinq and they are huge..!

I would say GTV seats would look too big in a Sei.
And although they tilt forward, how much room would there be for rear seat passengers.
None i would say.
But hey....

i have escort rs turbo recaros in mine (similar to the ones in the ebay link but with leather)

from rough calculations, alot of seats in japanese cars will fit, i did a wee bit of measuring and Impreza wrx seats were just about do-able with some jiggery pokery of the bases

Alfa Romeo seats in a Seicento (got a seat now)

I got a alfa romeo seat today.
15 euro's so a bargain.

But now the hard part.
how to fit them.
The rails on a seicento seat a further apart then the ones on the Alfa seat.
What would be the best way to fix this without a weak construction?

6mm (minimum) Aluminium angle. You can get universal mounts from places like Demon Tweeks.

He mounted the old rails to the enw seats.
This is no option for my seats as the base is to small.

USe cinq rails, plate a of steel (3mm minimum) over the cinq rails, drill holes to suit seat and rails .

That's how i fitted my bucket!

Nope that be lowest you can ever get a seat in a cento with standard rails.

The plate is only 3mm thick!

I only got one seat fitted in mine too
