For that money it's a good deal. Contrast ratio and viewing angle are better that you'd expect for the price. Built in audio is a good bonus too. 12ms is a good refresh rate but it depends how it's measured. Unless you're a hardcore gamer then this won't bother you in the slightest anyway!
It'll be a d-sub (analog) connection only, ei, no DVI (digital) connection so the picture won't be as clear/sharp but it should be a damn sight better than a CRT.
eBuyer - customer service can only improve?! It is just dire, in all respects. Their eNote system is sh*te, BUT at least I have a proper contact number for them now [I have had 4 or 5 orders go wrong...]

The best 17inch TFT monitor is the iiyama ProLite E435S. This is the monitor which we have got, and its very good, also the response time is only 10ms. have a look at this one on ebay as its only £67.
