Alarm Question....

Hi

I managed to fit an alarm that controls my central locking etc but I am stuck on one bit.

If the door is opened after disabling the alarm it should not rearm it however I can not work out where is best to wire this in so that alarm knows a door is open.

Can anyone help? Also what is the best place to wire it for the indicators to flash?

I Probably Have No Idea As I Havn't Even Got A Car Yet, But Wouldnt There Be A Small Switch/Button On The Door Sill, (You Know, The One That Turns Off The Interior Light When The Door Is Closed) I Guess That Would Be A Good Place?
