Alarm probs!!

Hi folks,ive had this thread on the technical section,but to no avail so here goes.
I have a T reg 1.6 16v bravo and its off road at the minute and ive had battery off a few times and never had this problem till now.
Basicaly what happens is that when i reconnect battery,the alarm goes off straight away and i cant switch it off with the keyfob so how can i switch it off?
Ive read on other threads that some cars have a key next to fusebox to disarm it but mine hasn,t so im up the creek!!

is it an OE alarm or aftermarket?
silly i know but you have replaced the fob battery?

Hi there,By OE do you mean a standard alarm?
If so yes it is and yes ive changed batteries in keyfob so it looks like il have to get code from fiat to program them back in but is there anyway of switching it off in the meantime?

as far as im aware there is a reprogramming proceedure on those, i think there is a sequence in turning the ign key on and off and then holding the fob button to restore it to the car.., you might find more info if you do a search.,. and save yourself some money instead of going to the FIAT dealer,.,.,
