But aircon still not working.. symptoms :1x are no engine change when switch on aircon. 2x switch lights up when pressed but aircon still not functioning........... Any ideas or is it the long walkto the dealers and a arse shafting bill££££££££££££££££££££££ Any ideas greatly appriciated thanks ;)

your fan blower still working? your temperature indicator on the display still working? your panel board light off when you turn on the air-cond?
if it is then the connection is loose. it under the dashboard in front the middle seat. check it out first. i got mine melted (the connector) can't find replacement so i just direct connect all the wire.

Do NOT go to FIAT! Select a good reputable A/C repairer and use them.
I guarantee they will be cheaper and more to the point, know what they are doing and do it properly.

And why do you say this peat? Please enlighten us why a independent garage (with no technical back up) can sort Fiats better (without the special tools) than a dealer garage with trained technicians, some with 40 years experience.
