Help. .no-fps. And airbag warning light on. The AA said it’s safe to drive. The airbag system seems to have a connection issue. 1.2 punto pop. 2012.anyone know where to start looking to solve this please? My obd says no codes.

There is a lot of info out there saying it’s a loose wire or airbag ecu. Pain in the arse is what it is. Just need to know how to fix. Going to the local fixer for obd2 as mine shows fa.

I used my friends Snap On diagnostics to sort out a problem on my daughters Fiat Punto Evo as you have to have diagnostic scanner that can read airbag codes but also do "proxi alignment" once problem rectified. Hers was a passenger seat occupancy sensor that had failed, unfortunately previous owner had attempted to repair and shorted out the BCM/airbag computer.
Whether you use a professional tool like Snap On or MES or MaxiEcu scan tools you have to read what part is faulty, fix it and then run that "proxi alignment" program this allows the ECU to identify all the parts connected and allow them to "talk " to the computer, then delete any error codes etc. to fix the issue.
