Sounds simple if it was temporary at first, loose wire or faulty switch type thing
Diagnostic equipment that can access the body computer will tell you exactly what's wrong
Most common fault is the glovebox switch
Or cars with side airbags in the seats something on the floor rolling and damaging the connector
You can see if turning the switch with you key inside the glovebox a few times helps
If it does you don't even need a screwdriver to change it
