General Air Filters

I have recently come into some compensation money for when a BMW Z4 went thru a red light and smashed into the side of my beloved mk2...... fortunately my punto was fixed up as good as new and i was looking at air filters online the other day, does anyone have any recommendations? i would go for a K&N for the sound but i hear they kill your top end speed.... Any suggestions much appriciated.

bmc filters rock and are getting more popualr there are many on there that use them. they arnt as loud as a K&N but are more effective and better for car. only problem is they do cost more about £160. check some other posts many people swear by them.
